Diversity
Our Inclusive Community
The Stark Firm has a history of hiring, developing, promoting, and retaining lawyers of all races, women, and LGBTQ lawyers. Continually establishing new initiatives and enhancing existing efforts, we focus on providing our diverse lawyers with meaningful support in their careers. Our lawyer networks are an example of how we support our attorneys in building communities within the firm.
A key focus of the firm’s strategic plan, diversity and inclusion are essential to how we do business, informing how we recruit, retain and promote lawyers to serve our clients. Our efforts are also supported by partnerships with clients and community members who are committed to advancing diversity in the legal profession. Working together, we can build a synergistic whole greater than the sum of its parts. That’s diversity in action.
Stark is certified as a minority business enterprise by the National Minority Supplier Development Council, as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and a Small Business Administration Women Owned Small Business. Stark and our attorneys are also members of the National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms.
Our long-time involvement with these organizations has allowed us unique opportunities to work with our corporate clients and other in-house counsel in the ongoing effort to increase inclusion in all areas of the law.
